Almost two years on from Oasis’ announcement of their comeback tour, Manchester becomes set to host the Mobo Awards for the first time.

In the late 1980s and early 90s, Manchester became a city transformed by music. Now 35 years on from when Britpop and Oasis made its mark on Madchester, the city appears to be making a comeback.

Last month Co-Op Live Arena played host to the Brit Awards, as it left London for the first time in its near 50-year history. Brits performer Harry Styles returns to the Co-Op Live Arena for his recent Netflix concert, which premiered on the 8th of March, this year.
