A video shared of the 100th woman to go to space has become the subject of misogynistic comments online after Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin aerospace company shared footage of the astronaut.   Emily Calandrelli, an MIT engineer, said she was brought to tears by critics of the clip, which showed her floating upside down in zero gravity while she stared out at Earth from a window. It was not long before comments beneath the video were flooded with objectifying and sexual remarks.

The James Webb Space Telescope captures a new image of the Sombrero Galaxy, without the iconic hat-like glowing light in its centre. In its place, it has a much dimmer circular centre. Born in Shorewood, Wisconsin in 1944, Abrahams is  most known for films such as Airplane, Scary Movie 4 and the tv series Police Squad. Abrahams passed away at his home in Santa Monica, California 26th November 2024 at the age of 80 from complications of Leukemia.
