CCTV footage obtained from Whitefield School revealed autistic children being pushed into padded rooms, thrown to the ground, restrained, or left sitting in their own vomit. It was uncovered that 40 children with various disabilities were confined to rooms without food or drink. Many of these pupils, some non-verbal, showed visible signs of distress, with some injuring themselves in the footage. A police investigation spanning 2014 to 2017 concluded this year without any charges against former staff.
