Arsenal and Manchester United find out route to European final

Arsenal and Manchester United have been given the possibility of meeting each other for the first time in a European final after both teams discovered their possible routes towards the final of the Europa League in Gdansk this year. United have been drawn against Spanish side Granada in the quarters-finals with the winner of that game facing the winner of Ajax vs. Roma in the semi-finals. Arsenal have been drawn against the Czech side Slavia Prague, the victors last night against the Gunners North London rivals Spurs and a potential semi-final draw against Villarreal formerly managed by the current Arsenal boss, Unai Emery.

The draw comes after a blockbuster night of Europa League action where Spurs threw away a 2-0 first leg lead to lose to Dinamo Zagreb in Croatia. Arsenal lost 1-0 on the night to Olympiacos but went through 3-2 on aggregate and United got the job done in Milan thanks to a Paul Pogba inspired second half performance.
