In height of criticism on Wicked star’s “bloodless" Dracula Adaption, Cynthia Erivo claims she won’t let the “comments” take from the energy she should spend on stage.

Last week, Erivo’s opening night at London’s Noël Coward Theatre faced divided critics.

In a string of two-star reviews, Guardian's critic Arifa Akbar deemed the stage adaption as “an audiobook accompanied by screen illustrations.”

Claims the EGOT nominated artist’s performance “certainly doesn't bite” made by Sam Marlowe of the Stage however do not seem to threaten Cynthia from honing energy into her performance.
