Great Britain women’s curling team kept their Winter Olympics semi- final hopes alive after a dramatic 8-7 victory over the USA in Cortina.

They were losing 7-6 going into the end and did not have the last shot, making victory look unlikely. However, Rebecca Morrison played an excellent final shot, putting pressure on the USA. The Americans missed their final attempt, allowing Britain to steal two points and claim an important win. GB must win their last three matches to still have a chance of reaching the semi-finals.
