Aston Villa are back in the Champions League for the first time in 40 years in its new format.

Under the guidance of Unai Emery, they are currently top of the Champions League table after 3 games with zero goals conceded.

Red-hot striker Jhon Duran was the hero again for the Villains as he continued his rich vein of form Infront of goal, scoring the match winner in the second half against fellow Champions League newcomers Bologna. After defeating European heavyweights Bayern Munich in their previous encounter who are seen by many as their toughest game on paper.

Currently sat top on 9 points, will Villa qualify in the top 8 and avoid the potential 2 extra games in the next knockout round?
