Is London still appealing to foreigners in 2024?

London has historically been an arrival point for foreigners and a land of opportunity for immigrants. 

Despite its countless options on the job market and its multiple choice of degrees and Universities for students, the city has not been attracting foreigners as it used to do in the past. 

According to trustforLondon.org, 

immigration in London has been constantly decreasing since 2015.  

Despite a slight increase of immigration in 2024 compared to the previous year (Gov.org. data), 

figures are still far from the ones of a decade ago for example. 

The causes of this decrease in popularity are reconnectable to: 

Brexit, High cost of living and rise of rent prices related to inflation. 

But despite its negative sides: 

is London still attractive to foreigners in 2024?  

To find out I decided to ask some of them about their life experiences in the city.
