Overworked & Underpaid: Harrods employees go on strike

Harrods, famous for being one of the most expensive luxury brands in Europe, celebrates 175 years in business. It has an expansive real estate portfolio, yachts, planes and more; now, however, the luxury giant is being called out by the employees who, in the words of Oliver Twist, are wanting “more”. Christmas bonuses and daily lunch stipends are just a few of their demands. Employees share their frustrations with the rising cost of living, food and transportation with MDX News; they wish to express how assistance from the company would go a long way.
