So is it right that horses should be used for human entertainment and financial gain? Research shows that race horses suffer injuries and distress. They are whipped to enhance performance, tongue-ied for compliance and lashed for speed. All these actions therefore, place horses at risk of injury, collapsing from exhaustion or death.
