Martyn Blake, the officer who shot Chris Kaba, an unarmed man during a police vehicle stop in Streatham, has been cleared of all murder charges related to the incident from September 2022. Mr. Kaba’s family expressed their anguish, calling it painful proof that their lives are not valued by the system. Around 150 members of the public held a vigil outside the Old Bailey, holding signs that read, "Police are predators" and "This is not justice."
