England women’s football team has announced a 25-player squad for their upcoming 2027 World Cup qualifying matches against Ukraine and Iceland. Captain Leah Williamson and forward Lauren James return to the squad after recovering from recent injuries. Other experienced players are also included, while London City Lionesses defender Poppy Pattinson earns her first senior call up to the national team. England will play with Ukraine in Turkey on March 3 before hosting Iceland at Nottingham Forests’ city.
