The increasing number of young people applying for benefits such as Universal Credit has become a topic of growing concern. While many individuals are physically and mentally capable of working, factors such as job insecurity, low wages, and mental health pressures influence their decisions.

  

Our Reporter, Gisela Koromah Sopale, spoke to those who aim to challenge common assumptions and offer a deeper understanding of the realities young people face.
